I visited Smith Island October 12-14, 2019, Columbus Day weekend during a flood. A fall full moon and a passing Nor’easter caused very high tides, 2.5 feet above normal. I created this surf lithograph in the calm water’s edge in the backyard of a waterfront cottage. Fine sediment filled the water so the image is much darker than the day before.
